Logging on and logging off

To log onto Meridian Project Portal:

1. Open a supported web browser window.
2. In the address box, type the URL to your organization's Meridian Project Portal installation and press Enter. The Meridian Project Portal logon page appears.

Note    If you do not know the exact URL,  contact your Meridian Project Portal system administrator. The address starts with https:// if a secure connection is used or http:// if not.

3. Type your user name and password, and click Login. If you are authorized to use at least one workspace, the workspace list appears. If you are not authorized or have mistyped your user name or password, an error message appears.

Note    Meridian Project Portal user names and passwords are case-sensitive. For example, for the user name anny, neither Anny nor ANNY is valid.

Tip    We recommend that you change your password the first time that you use Meridian Project Portal as described in Changing personal properties.

Note    By default, each session will expire after 60 minutes of idle time and you must log on to the system again.

To log off Meridian Project Portal:

• Click the arrow next to your name in the upper right corner of the page and on the menu that appears, click Logout. You may also close the browser window. We recommended that you close the web browser window whenever you are finished using Meridian Project Portal.
